Established in 2016, ElectroSea started by finding a better way to solve the biofouling that its founders experienced on their own vessels. Today, ElectroSea® is the largest provider of seawater protection systems for recreational yachts in the world. Their breakthrough ElectroStrainer® system is the first all-in-one smart biofouling-prevention system with integrated sea strainer. ElectroStrainer replaces the existing sea strainer, prevents marine growth through all seawater lines, and provides real-time flow readings. With ElectroStrainer, the sea strainer basket stays clean longer, seawater lines stay clear, and the air conditioner keeps blowing cool air.

To complement their marine growth prevention systems, ElectroSea introduced SeaStrong®, a line of magnetic-drive seawater pumps, in 2022. The following year, ElectroSea unveiled SeaStrong Silver Bullet, featuring a glass fiber polypropylene composite pump head and impeller, along with a stainless-steel, IP55-rated washdown motor and other patent-pending features to deliver superior performance and reliability. In 2025, ElectroSea set a new standard for magnetic-drive pumps with SeaStrong Silver Bullet RDP – Run-Dry Protection, which takes run-dry protection to an entirely new level thanks to its low-friction, heat-dissipating design.
