LCJ Capteurs was created in 1999 with the purpose of designing a robust, static wind speed and wind direction measurement sensor that is marinized, lightweight, discreet, compact, accurate and with low energy consumption. Its first patented CV3F model is designed for all-weather professional vessels. The other patented CV7 version is aimed to recreational sailing, power vessels and racing boats. The CV3F and CV7 versions are basically intended for NMEA 0183® systems but are also NMEA2000® compatible through the WindyPlug interface, including the barometer function. LCJ Capteurs provides the BaroPlug electronic barometer that connects directly to a NMEA 2000® system as well.
